At Tarbaj Teachers Training College we are guided by the Competency-Based Education (CBE) which focuses on developing knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that enable our trainees to apply learning in real-life situations. The CBE approach shifts emphasis from memorization to mastery of practical teaching competencies. It empowers our trainees to become creative, reflective, and resourceful teachers who can effectively implement the Competency-Based Education (CBE) in Kenyan schools.
We strive to empower the teacher-trainees to reach their full potential through mentorship, guidance and active participation in co-curricullar and community engagement programs.
